Hello! My name is Tierra Cook. I am a graduate from the University of Kansas Coding Bootcamp. My education background and experience in the classroom and coding world give me the skills needed to provide meaningful relationships between team members and clients as well as create custom, unique, and innovative projects. I love to learn and am willing to put in the hard work to continue to grow in the Kansas City Developer Community.
My mission is to help convert ideas into creative, unique, meaningful, and useful products as well as teach others about web developement.

I am familiar with the following technologies and programming languages:
Hypertext Markup Language is the standard markup language for creating web pages and web applications. With Cascading Style Sheets and JavaScript, it forms a triad of cornerstone technologies for the World Wide Web.
Cascading Style Sheets is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language like HTML.
JavaScript, often abbreviated as JS, is a high-level, interpreted programming language that conforms to the ECMAScript specification. It is a programming language that is characterized as dynamic, weakly typed, prototype-based and multi-paradigm.
GitHub is a web-based hosting service for software development projects that use the Git revision control system. It is one of the most popular code repository sites for open source projects.
Heroku is a cloud platflorm that lets you deploy, run and manage applications written in Ruby, Node.js, Java, Python, Clojure, Scala, Go and PHP.
Node is a platform built on Chrome's JavaScript runtime for easily building fast and scalable network applications. It is perfect for data-intensive real-time applications that run across distributed devices.
SQL (es-que-el) stands for Structured Query Language, is a programming language to operate databases. It includes storing, manipulating and retrieving data stored in a relational database.
React is an open-source JavaScript library which is used for building user interfaces specifically for single page applications. It's used for handling view layer for web and mobile apps. React also allows us to create reusable UI components.
Firebase is a mobile and web application development platform through Google. Firebase provides a realtime database and backend as a service. The service provides application developers an API that allows application data to be synchronized across clients and stored on Firebase's cloud.
